...Remember me? You sent me three Polar Breeze Bandanas with dolphin designs for

use during my 50-mile "Dolphin Dash" fundraiser run on June 17th in preparation to go the International Whaling Commission (IWC) meeting in Agadir, Morocco.Well, I made

it.

Not only did I finish, but I actually felt good enough at the end to jump over the finish line! :) It's no exaggeration to say that the run was much easier - much more comfortable - because I had the Polar Breeze Bandanas. They were magic! It was a

very hot day - mid 80's- and though I was well-hydrated, the sun was unrelenting and the bandanas

stayed moist and cool around my neck - perfect. My crew of three kept the bandanas rotated and now they're converts, too! ;)
I'm wondering if there are ways for us to partner together to feature Polar Breeze Bandanas as a product line at the upcoming ACS 12thInternational Conference, which will be held at the Embassy Suites,Monterey, CA from November 12th-14th.
And thanks again for the bandanas – they truly were a lifesaver – I’m a believer!

Hi Mark and Charleen:

We are "Team Winter Garden Wheelworks," down here near Orlando Florida. This summer has been brutal. We frequently found ourselves riding in 100 degree plus heat. After having several people have "heat issues" and realizing that the wet bandana was not doing the trick I went in search of something that would keep us cool and on the trail. We would pedal between 50 and 100 miles on any given Saturday. I found you on the web and now we are able to complete our rides without anyone having a "heat bonk." We love your bandanas. Kathy has nicknamed them our "neck sausages." Thanks for keeping us cool and in the saddle turning pedals.

Sincerely, Steve K.

I already have some Polar Breeze Bandanas myself and love them.  I am part of a group of scrapbookers who meet in Breckenridge Colorado every year for a retreat.  I asked Charleen to make some bandanas for me to give to them.  While I was thinking of what fabric to use she told me she would find some fabric that had a scrapbooking theme on it.  She found the perfect fabric and my friends (The Breckenyaya's) loved them too and can't wait for warm weather to try them out.

In June 2008, my husband and I went to Egypt on a tour. Knowing it was going to be incredibly warm, I consulted a friend who has been several times. He said, “You will need one of those cool bandanas. If you don’t have one, you’ll be sorry. My friend gave me one, but I have no idea where you can find one.” Without any luck whatsoever, I made calls and pilgrimages to every sports store and department in the usual big box stores in our area of Colorado. FINALLY, I had the presence of mind to turn to the Internet and found your site, Polar Breeze, when I “Googled” the keywords “Cool Bandanas.” We ordered four of them.
Our first day out on the tour was at Giza and the Great Pyramids. As you will see in our picture on “KFC the Camel,” my husband forgot his bandana, but I was so glad to have worn mine! It was over 100 degrees that day. The rest of the tour, we both remembered to wear them and were the envy of our group. Feeling sorry for some of the sufferers, we offered our extra two to them. Thanks so much for your company; it eventually made a big difference for four people.

Hi Charleen!

What a great product! I tried it out immediately and I can already see that it's going to be a lifesaver.
I posted a review at the Disboards.

And because you were so prompt...so shall I be, I sent a picture of me in the bandana.

Best of luck to you....I will be ordering again soon. These will make great Xmas presents.

Here are two pictures of Sara modeling her polar breeze bandana.  I had to do it in the house because she was just too excited outside to pose.  Probably also due to the heat.  It's REALLY hot around here these last few days.
You have a wonderful product.  It enabled me to mow the grass in 90 plus degree weather.

I am attaching a picture of my husband and I with our Polar Breeze bandanas and Donald Duck.  I have to say - those bandanas made our trip to Disney much better than our last!  We kept our extras in a ziploc baggie filled with ice in our backpacks to switch out with.
Now that we are home - I am using them while doing yardwork. Although they don't make me enjoy the work any more than usual - I am less miserable while doing it!

Hi Charleen,

I'm hopefully in the last stages of menopause and even though the hot flashes aren't as bad as they were, now I'm just hot all the time. It's horrible!!

Between menopausal women and women in hot workplaces, I really think these would help. It's just a matter of getting the word out to these women.

By the way, I wore the 2 inch pair today and I was comfortable all day, again. I can't wait to try the shorter ones. I still can't believe how well they work. I have a couple of co workers that know about this and I'll look at them and smile and say, " I have my Boob Toobs in and I feel good"

Hi!

Well, many of you know that I'm always on the search for small independent companies that sell products made in the USA. Whenever, I travel to another state I just love, love, love going to a MADE IN (choose your state) store. The uniqueness of the products make such a great souvenir!

Not only that, you're supporting the local community AND the economy of our country overall.

I'm very pleased to share with you a new company to purchase the neck wraps that I mentioned about 8 months ago! I know from personal experience that these are truly
life savers when it comes to dealing with  heat and humidity!

The company is Polar Breeze Bandanas located in Alaska!

The selection is the best I've ever seen and the prices are excellent!

They also sell forehead pads, while I'm not a doctor I would think these could assist you if you have a fever or a headache and of course they haven't forgotten your pets!

and wait there's more....while you are supporting a company located in the USA , also know that your purchase is supporting Breast Cancer Research!

A company that will keep us cool when it's hot, while warming our hearts at the same time!

THANKS FOR OVERNIGHTING ALL THE HATS AND NECK COOLERS LAST WEEK!
WE DID A 3 DAY ROCK CRAWLING EVENT IN 100+ DEGREE AND 98% HUMIDITY THIS WEEKEND!
THEY REALLY SAVED THE DAY! THE HATS ARE AWESOME!!!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR GREAT PRODUCT!!

I’m a breast cancer survivor and team captain for the Avon 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer.  We have 12 members on our team, the Mile High Ta Ta’s, and I wanted to get each member a neck cooler for the walk next month.  You had the best website, best prices and what appears to be the best quality for our needs!  Most of the sites were very industrial and not what I was looking for.

Thanks for the discounted shipping charges, that helps my checking account out a great deal!

Hi PolarBreezers-
HOly BatMan I can't tell you how your bandanas hooked me and my whole family up. So here we were planning a trip to florida in the middle of JULY to Disney.  SERIOUSLY, what were we thinking??? OK, so I decided to purchase the whole family, one each of your bandanas (I mean its the least I could do seeing that were footing the bill for the Disney trip).  So there they were these noodle looking thingies- hummm, lets give it a shot I wrapped it around my neck and chilled out and blessed it the whole day, while walking through the scorching parks.
The next day, THE WHOLE FAMILY had them on- cooling them intermittently throughout the park with the water fountains.  We all were singing their praises the whole trip! I just kept saying, why doesn't the whole park have these?  Sure people looked at us who didn't know what they were, but they had sweat pooling down their faces... HAHh!  If these bandannas were made with the favorite Disney creatures on them, they would sell LIKE HOTCAKES!!!! I am sure of it!!
Those darn 'Crocs' are all over the place at the amusment parks, so why not extend YOUR market and get Disney to sell them... what are they .35 cents to make and sell for 8-12 bucks!!! Careful though, they would just make them themselves, and sorta steal the idea, possibly?
Gawd, you all could just make a mint with Disney in your corner! What about sending them to the executives and having them try them out (minus the charactures, due to infringement laws)?

Best wishes and Super continued Success in the future! And thanks again for the bandanas.

Thank you.  I have to tell you a funny story about your web site that I think you might appreciate.  My husband lost his job a few months ago and in the meantime, he has been helping my niece with her landscaping service here in good old hot Georgia.  Thursday afternoon, after working in this heat for several hours, he passed out and came close to having a heat stroke.  I have one cooler bandana that I purchased several years ago and I use while walking/jogging.  I decided I needed to order a few for the entire family, especially my husband and niece for them to use outside working in the heat…which brings me to the funny part.  My husband was contacted yesterday about a job, from a company in Fairbanks.  Out of all the websites that popped up when I started my search for the cooler bandanas, your web site is the one that I clicked on first!  When I saw the “ Made in Fairbanks” pop up first thing, I just died laughing.  I did check a few of the other web sites and others had better deals, however, I liked the fact that 10% of your sales goes to a good cause…and who knows, maybe someday I get to actually come in your shop as a local!....

Thanks again,

Susan

It is Father's Day in Singapore on the 20th of June and my sister and i wanted to get something for our Dad who is temporary working in Iowa ( he will be back in Singapore in July). He loves fishing during the weekends and we wanted to give him something special to help him to beat the heat. My sister actually found your website through a google search and we felt it was a good idea to get some Bandanas since he wears them alot.

The weather is sunny all round in tropical Singapore and it gets very hot here (28 to 33 degrees Celcius), my Dad wears regular Bandannas in the kitchen while he helps Mom, while he is working on his car and even when he is eating a bowl of hot steamming noodles. I think he will look forward to using his new air-con Bandanna when he comes back to sunny Singapore. You guys should market your wonderful product more agressively here in Singapore!

I enjoyed browsing through your website with my husband, I personally like the white birch and Irises print ones. I am considering getting them for my next order.
Cheers
Von

I wanted to thank you for sending me the forehead pad. Not long after you sent it to me I had to be admitted into the hospital with a 103 fever for a week. Since I was 8 months pregnant I had to have a cooling blanket on me. I had my husband get the forehead pads and I used those. They worked great. I told each and every nurse that came in your website and told them some of the other products that you have (the ones that I have), and how great they worked.

I meant to write you earlier but things got a little crazy, But I did want to let you know I was able to use and adore the forehead pad. Good luck with your business and hopefully some of the plugs I gave while at the hospital will pay off.

Sincerely,
Sarah

I had two, and today I lent one to a handiman working outside our house in the brutal Florida sun. He loved it so much I gave it to him, which meant I needed to order more (I CAN'T let my dog go Polar-Breezeless!)

Thanks for your note, and for such a great product! (It still cracks me up that these are made in Alaska!)

Thank you for such speedy service.  I do appreciate it.  They will come in handy in Sturgis this year.  I plan on wearing one as a headband.
I love the wide variety of colors, prints etc...that you carry.

Again, thanx for the great service and I look forward to doing business with you again.

You’re welcome! I will ALWAYS check your website first in the future for any of my pet’s needs. Your customer service can’t be beat! Valerie S.

Hi Charleen.

I received the forehead pads and boob tubes -- they are great!  My dog has been wearing bandanas every day recently, and they comfort her a lot.  Last night I had to turn off the bedroom window AC because we were having frequent power cuts, probably brown-outs.  I noticed after about 15 minutes that Birgit was very hot, so I put a fresh bandana on her and massaged her face with the pads.  She cooled off within 5 minutes, and slept with forehead pads under her chest.  I want you to know that these products have been a godsend for us both!  If you have a "testimonial" page I'd like to post one -- I've already posted information about your company on Facebook.  Hope it brings you some business!Barbara
